More than just a piece of paper

Your graduation session should be more than standing in the same spot and smiling at the camera. We’ll create a session that reflects your personality, your style, and everything you’ve accomplished.

From your favorite campus spots to the little details that make your experience unique, we’ll build a session around what matters to you. Bring your gown, your favorite outfits, your hobbies, your favorite energy drink, or anything else that feels like you. I’ll help with posing, locations, and everything in between so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

Testimonials

Working with Taite for my senior pictures was the best decision I made! She really does pour so much into her craft, ensures you get the shots you want, and truly cares about those she works with. She makes it a point to reach out about the status of your gallery and makes this such a smooth process!

She’s so patient and flexible with ideas, locations, and outfits! She’s also so helpful with poses if you have never posed for photos before! The smoothest and easiest session.

FAQ

How do I book?

Please fill out the form on my contact page and I will get back to you ASAP. For grad sessions there is a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure a date. The remaining balance must be paid in full seven (7) days prior to the session.

What date should I choose for my session?

I always recommend scheduling an earlier date rather than a later one. Popular locations like the Admin building become extremely crowded as the semester goes on, so the earlier you can schedule the better.

How long does it take to get our photos?

The final gallery will be delivered via email within 3 weeks of the session. You will have access to the online gallery for 3 months, then it will expire. You will be able to download and share the images at no additional cost. Please book your session with enough time to order grad announcements if that is important to you. I also offer expedited galleries upon availability.

What time will my session start?

I typically schedule sessions a few hours before sunset or about an hour after sunrise to take advantage of the best natural light. For evening sessions, I aim to finish about 45 minutes before sunset. We'll confirm your exact start time closer to the session date so we can factor in crowd levels at popular locations.

What happens if it rains

Please consult my weather policy in the contract provided when booking. I will work with you to try to accommodate weather problems.

What makes a session valuable?

I include what is provided in packages while working with you to make sure we make a session custom to you and your needs. I love including a mix of traditional grad photos, professional headshots perfect for LinkedIn, and fun creative pictures that represent your time in college.

What happens during the Zoom call?

The complimentary Zoom call can be scheduled anytime prior to your session. My grads typically like to schedule these 1-2 weeks before your session. During the call, I will show you a full example gallery with locations or inspiration similar to what you may be interested in. We will also discuss locations, outfit ideas, and what you want out of your grad photos.

Can I bring friends or family?

Yes! I highly encourage you to bring friends, family, or anyone who will hype you up. These photos are all about you. Toward the end of the session, I'll take a few complimentary photos with your "hype team." Bringing someone who helps you feel confident and comfortable is always a great idea. I would recommend leaving behind anyone who might add stress or be overly critical during your session.

Can I bring my pet?

Pets are welcome at select locations. Due to large crowds, I don't allow pet photos at very busy spots like the Admin Building. Crowds and other animals can be stressful for pets, which can also add stress to the session. From experience, the smoothest option is having a roommate or friend bring your pet for one specific location so they are not there for the whole session.

What if I've never had professional photos taken before

That is totally ok! Whether this your first photoshoot or hundredth, my goal is to capture images that truly represent you. I'll guide you every step of the way, adapt to your comfort level, and support your vision to make the experience easy, fun, and stress-free.

What if I don't know how to pose?

Great news! That is my job! I'll guide you through poses and prompts the entire session and have plenty of ideas ready. You're always welcome to share inspiration, but if you don't have any, I've got you covered. I also have a Pinterest page with photos I have taken for you to gather inspo. Your only job is to show up, relax, have fun, and trust the process.

What should I wear?

We can dive into all of the details over email or during our Zoom call. Your cap and gown is considered a bonus outfit you can throw on over any look, so it doesn't count towards your outfit total (aka it is a free outfit) I do not provide a cap and gown, so please bring your own to the session. For outfits I can offer suggestions for places I love to shop at, but I always recommend to go for outfits you love and feel confident in.
